Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with your purchase from New Zealand Gifts.
Because many of our items are handmade or natural materials (including pounamu and wood), slight variations and natural imperfections are part of the product and not considered faults.
Return Window
You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your item.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- Item must be unused and in original condition
- Item must be returned in original packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
- Custom or personalised items
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
- Sale items
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Return Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- If the item is faulty, we will cover return shipping
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method.
